I love it when cats are napping with their game faces on. Great seriousness of purpose.

I bought a hairdresser smock on Amazon for just such occasions.

When you have to show how clean the tail bag keeps her tail (at least the bottom half). I bought some Lycra and my sister made me a whole slew of tail bags. She just couldn’t get the idea. So I had to update her. Tail last washed at least a month ago.

And be sure to get the whole butt in the picture.

Nothing says horse ownership like a dog in a manure dumpster

@sorrelfilly721 What a cute kitty! Reminds me a lot of one our family had when I was a teenager. He showed up at a family friend’s house and wanted to visit with everyone, including another friend’s Newfoundland puppy. We named him Puddin’ and he was the absolute best cat an a friend to all dogs.

Wow he’s beautiful! This one has had many names. Currently I call her either Orange Kitty, or Fatty McGee

A couple years ago, my vet tech friend told me that someone had shoved 14 cats into a dog crate and left them outside the vet clinic overnight in the rain in winter. I had always wanted an orange female and I asked her what was there. She said they were all males, and then said “wait, there’s one female”. I asked what color and of course she was orange. I told her to run the feline leukemia and FIV and even if I didn’t take her, I would pay for them. She called me a couple hours later and said “come pick her up”. I was totally unprepared, but set up a quarantine room for her. She had goopy eyes and ear mites. All she did was growl at me with every breath the first day. She finally came around but her ears and eyes were always bad and her breath was like death. I have a friend who is a small animal vet and she looked at her teeth and said they had to come out (quite a few anyway). I went ahead with it and after she healed, not only was her death breath gone, but her eyes and ears cleared up as well! Her coat quality was better and she was friendlier! Who knew??

I have the same one.

Also have the same black green-edges wine carrier.

Also have sorta-similar tote bags to carry stuff, and a sorta-similar well-organized plastic crate to organize stuff.

And a little hatchback / compact suv to zip to & from the barn in, saving the mileage on the towing vehicle.

You might be me, or else I might be you.

I particularly like how the saddle pad coordinates with your orange cat. Usually we’re concerned about being properly matchy match with our horses and riding attire. But you’ve nailed it with the cat!

Inspired by @ThreeWishes ’ post

When you take out-of-town guests to Teskey’s in Weatherford TX to see the acre of saddles (well it seems like an acre)
 used & new

Can’t find it, but I have a very old photo that shows probably twice this much space and, and twice this many saddles.

I don’t get it. Help! Lol

I saw it because I have the same one, laid down in the same place, on top of a similar pile of stuff, in a similar type of car. I mean, that could be my car. I almost reached out and picked the thing up, as I do several times a week. As I mentioned in my original comment, maybe I am living the same life as other horse people ???

Doesn’t everyone have a dressage whip in the trunk of their car?

I have a driving whip on the back seat of my truck. Does that count?

I zoomed in with the arrows and let out an extremely loud “OH!” lol

Previously I’d thought maybe the light blue/turquoise was a fly mask? Definitely did not get it, lol

Ah, it was a dressage whip! Wasn’t sure what I was supposed to be seeing, either.

Although dressage whips and riding crops kept outside the tack room can also signify a different “lifestyle choice.” Or so I’ve been told.
