Show me your dressage ponies, please!
I am going to die. Is that… a mule pony? Or does he just have the best ears imaginable? Be still, my beating heart.
No, dey ears!

He’s the sweetest.

I truly adore him. He’s also a big hit with my trainer and several clinicians. Sad that the eventing folks won’t have us, because he’s an adorable low-level jumper as well. Loves the lateral work in dressage, the sitting at the high levels is tough for him.

Ponies are the best! Love seeing everyone’s ponies

FG - You should go for it!! He’s totally adorable and you will have a blast!

I’ve shown all of my ponies over the years, though we don’t just stick to dressage. We have dabbled in hunter land, in hand showing, pleasure driving and combined driving (which is really our focus), so ridden dressage is very important to my guys as it relates to driven dressage.

Here are a few pics of my guys - First picture is a 13.2h section C welsh cob, second one is a 14.2h BRP x Welsh, third picture is a 13h section B welsh, fourth is a 14.1h BRP and then my other 13h section B welsh. I’m 5’2" and do enjoy the size of the ponies better, but I do like the larges the best. I feel big on my 13h boys and don’t tend to ride them much.

Oh sweet lord. He is incredible. My old mare had the biggest ears and I just loved them so so so much. Please give those an extra little kiss from me.

Here is the album for my sister’s Haffy. The baby photos should be credited to Shady Grove Haflingers who bred her. Let’s just say she has lot’s of personality…

All you guys with your adorable ponies, I just can’t stand the cute!

I am tall with long legs so I will have to live the pony dream through you guys!

Not mine, but there are two in the barn where I board. One pure Connemara, and one “Quarter Pony”. Both are great movers; the QP has a big dose of pony-tude though!

My Morgan filly is boarded with a breeder of sport ponies who has some really nice ponies for sale. One under saddle who is a gorgeous, gorgeous mover.

This is such an amazing thread! I’m going to look through and check out everyone’s pony but I wanted to share mine too. This is my 13.2 hand mutt pony Katai. We are riding training and schooling 1st-2nd. This was from a recent dressage clinic. We’ve got a long way to go but we’ve made some huge progress so far :)

I love mules and donkeys, owned donks for the last 30 years
I think he is beautiful!!!
Low withers? Smooth trot? So mules are not allowed to event?

I love seeing all of these adorable ponies

And of course I can’t resist sharing mine. Molly is a 13.3h Quarter Pony mare… an eventer at heart, but we’re working very hard at trying to be presentable in the sandbox. Photo here (I really wish I had something more recent, she’s made so much progress since last summer!)

Also, my trainer is 4’10" and has a 12h welsh mare in her program. Cutest thing ever.

So, I just brought this one home from the last horse show. He’s a New Forest X Welsh/QH gelding. Seven years old with maybe a year or so of intermittent training. My excuse is that I’ll train him up for my kid students but I’m seriously in love with him despite that fact that he’s maybe 14 hh and I am 5’7". These pictures are from his first week with me so he’s pasture fuzzy and not muscled up yet but still stinking cute.

Of course I do! I bought her from exvet (her breeder), who is a COTHer. She is 3/4 Welsh Cob and 1/4 Morgan.

Here’s her most recent picture.

Oh my, she is just too cute!!

ahh - ponies. my favorite things!

My grey pony stallion, Romer, just made his PSG debut with me the other weekend. I was very proud of him! Scores of 66% and 69%. We were inches away from a 70%.

the Hobbit- love your pony! Reminds me of Honeylips pony with that big white blaze and socks!

I love everyone’s ponies!

This is my 14.1 Quarter “Pony”. She is quite the little number, and while she is now mostly a pasture puff, she let a lot of my teenage dreams happen. She also taught me how to have a velcro seat.

Oh wow… That is a LOVELY pony.

(The pony breeder mentioned above, where my filly lives, has a 2015 Golden State filly who is just lovely, and quite a character. She has no fear, and tried and tried to make friends with my filly. … My filly is over pony height and very solid, but is fairly gentle with the GS filly unless she’s being a real pest.)

Pon![](es are my favorite things too! We breed ponies for dressage.
Ours are Sport Ponies (GRP, and GRP/Welsh crosses) I will share some photos if I can remember how to do it.
5 yr old Bejeweled with my daughter who is 5’9

This is SummerSolstice, a yearling here, now two. [IMG]http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u150/twinlights/Summers%20beautiful%20trot%203.jpg)

This is Benno’s Nor’Easter (Stormy, 1/2 brother to Bejeweled) 11 yr old gelding 13.2H, even though I am 5’8, I still love riding him.
[IMG]http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u150/twinlights/usethistrotpic.jpg)

Then there is this cutie, a teenie tiny dressage pony! Rosalinda, who must have forgotten to grow, only 12.2 at three years old.
[IMG]http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u150/twinlights/RileyatWindswept2014.jpg)

This is my Golden State filly, Margarita, at 7 months old.

This one is Rockstar, by Popeye, she is only 13H, but a real cutie. [IMG]http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u150/twinlights/Shania%20trotting%20ruby%203_crop.jpg)

Just love seeing everyone’s cute ponies!

I’ll play. I’m 5’7" and ride my 14+ hand, homebred New Forest pony by Wicked Courtjester. In hunter/jumpers there really isn’t a viable option for an adult to regularly compete a pony, my pony really loves the dressage work and I missed the show ring - so a year ago I decided to compete the pony in dressage! I borrowed a saddle and a black jacket, hooked up with an FEI trainer, and, while we kept to the schooling shows to get our sea legs, I had a blast – learning the dressage show ropes, meeting some amazing people, and even winning some cool prizes! We will be competing at first level, in my first rated dressage show, at the end of this month.

I saw you guys go at MEC! You both looked lovely. What a fun little guy!

Not a dressage pony (quite yet) but my almost 3 year old Welsh Cob. She’s about 14.1hh. https://www.facebook.com/WinterlakeEmerald/photos/a.470289259725364.1073741824.470287943058829/976848859069399/?type=3&theater

WOW! she looks like the spittin’ image of Hastening Giselle the foundation mare to my breeding program. I’ll be looking forward to seeing more posts about this one.
