We have a thread of cute kitty pictures, let’s start a goat picture one.
Back in October a friend of mine took my goats to a pet appreciation event where they were the mascots of friend’s feed store booth. And then they led the pet parade. Albert (white) and Buster (brown).
Rollie and Pippin (from years ago). Rollie had gotten his foot stuck in the grass and snapped his leg when he wheeled around so this was the cast he has to wear for four weeks.
Y’all are doing NADA! to quell my Goat Desire
@beowulf There’s no such thing as Goat Spam & those pics are not helping me
@Sandysmom Thank you, that helps a teeny bit.
Although… Wethers!
Also not useful, Faux Grandson has a pygmy doe - now 11yo - with Personality+ who makes me Want Goat!
If I would not have to redo my Goat Joke (3 lines of not hot coated tensile with PVC rail on top) fencing I’d have at least 1 by now.
Despite that meaning a 5th species to care for

Here’s Gruff getting a mani pedi. He loves his farrier. Stands like a rock and makes his sexy face at her. The other picture is him crushing on my dog Scarlett. Scarlett is not amused. FWIW, I only have a 4 strand barb wire fence. Gruff mostly hangs out with the horses and only leaves the pasture occasionally when the honeysuckle is growing across the road or he gets a hankering for cedar or pine.
My daughter helped deliver kids last night. The doe had 5 of them. All of them were tangled up and had to be pulled out. The first one was born dead/malformed. The rest are just so cute.
DD wants a goat so badly….but it’s not going to happen with the current dog.
loading Chip in the trailer, he and three others of the grand kids’ goats went to Hollywood for a taping of a Stupid Animal Tricks show… Chip and Cupcake have been taught about thirty ot forty tricks using clicker training.
and off they went
Some of these pictures are awesome!
Our girls. They might have a boyfriend this spring (all except Nancy because she’s going to be seven years old this year). They have acclimated well to living up north, but they spend most of their time inside. From last to right: Nancy, Lesley, and Lisa.
My newest Boer Buck ( black) and his 7 ladies. Kind of excited at what they will give me this Spring.
Another new Buck( buckskin) went in with my remaining does. He is a homebred but unrelated to all but 2 of my older does ( went in with my black buck) . Excited at the possible kids from him too.
