So as I recall, we had some LOVELY babies born in the COTH community last year.(Per usual) I’d love to see pictures/hear updates of how they’re all doing so I can live through everyone else for right now.

I just took a few fun shots of three of the yearlings during and after a much needed sun shower. I have pics of Metro (Mezcalero X Noble Champion), Rockaway (Rio de Dinero X Galoubet) and Chablu (Chacco Blue X Jupiter).
Chablu’s unamused face is hysterical. She did not appreciate the rain or the boys exuberance.

GORGEOUS Yecart!! Wow, she is absolutely stunning! Can’t believe how mature she looks, if you put a tail extension on her she would look just like an adult horse! What a beauty, congrats! Wish my yearling looked that good, lol! Not taking pics for a few months yet!

Anyway, we are going to a show on Friday, so I will try to get some pictures post-bath. I must say, my yearling looks like a long, lanky, gangly teenager compared to your horses. Much more immature (she was a mid-May baby).

Well, I’ll be the first pony person to post. This is our Section B yearling. He was the 2010 Canadian National Champion Section B 2 & Under Colt.
Normally, I find that horses and ponies are at their ugliest as yearlings, but our little guy seems to be blossoming right now. He’s the only Alvesta Picasso colt we’ve ever left intact, and has such a sweet temperament that we decided to go ahead and show him this year.
Photo taken after winning his Weanling/Yearling class, qualifying for the NASPR Stars of the West Challenge Cup Finals and beating the Mature Stallions and Mare to win overall Reserve Grand Champion Sport Pony at his show this month.
