What size show saddle pad do you typically get in relation to your saddle? I have a TC-2 saddle its a ‘17’ which is more like a 16. I get size 16 show saddle pads, but always seems like there is still too much white showing. Should I go to a 15 child saddle pad…
I took my saddle in to the tack shop and tried it on the stand with various pads.
Pics? Doesn’t seem like the pad should be too big if it’s a 16 and the saddle is a 17? I like the Toklat quilted ones but find they run a bit small.
The Lettia Pads tend to run pretty true to size. I do sell the 16-16.5 a lot to people with shorter flaps. What brand of pad are you buying and what kind of saddle are you using them with? I can measure what we have if you want an idea of what will work for you!
Does anyone know if there is a brand of the standard hunter saddle show pads that have a tad more forward of a flap?
KobeTrixie57 The Lettia Close Contact has a more forward flap than the All Purpose Pad, it is not a really forward flap. . . I should take comparison pictures of that, it gets a lot of questions. I also notice that their Coolmax Contour pad is more flexible for a forward flap than the Wonder pad. Hope this helps.
