I’m not sure if anyone else has ever done this, but I remember as a junior doing some sort of show sheen/liniment combo for a quick bath to knock out the dust and it didn’t make the horse slippery. I got the formula back then from a Morgan show competitor for my dressage horse, and it did work magic! Has anyone else ever done this? Are there proportions I’m missing or another ingredient?

I use liniment and rubbing alcohol to help buff out sweat marks when it’s too cold to bathe or for quick touch ups at shows. Probably a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio liniment to alcohol.
I’ve never had problems with skin irritation or drying, but I also like the Eqyss Avocado Mist if you wanted to follow up with a non-slip conditioner.
