Show Shirt Recommendations

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for show shirt recommendations for shirts that aren’t completely white. Or if anyone has recommendations for white show shirts that aren’t see through. I’m looking for short sleeved and a more fitted type as I don’t like my show shirts to be loose. Would like to stay under $100. I mainly do eventing but have plans to compete in some jumper competitions too.

Thanks!

The best garment is the one that fits you. Then after that it’s the one that is the right fabric for your climate and weather.

There are dozens of perfectly adequate show shirts out there. Most equestrian gear IME is made for the teen/young adult very slim rider body. I’m a little busty so the number one question for me in any top is fit across the girls without getting huge in the shoulders.

I dislike synthetic fabric to begin with so I’m quite picky about the fabric. If I was out seriously buying show shirts I might look into the “cool feel” fabrics for summer. They work best in dry climates however.

I really like these. They come in long and short sleeve - I prefer long but here you go:

I have the Horze Blaire shirts in short and long sleeve versions. I also hate loose show shirts and these are my favorites - fitted without being clingy and tuck in smoothly. The white isn’t see-through and I think they offer other colors too. I’ve been meaning to try one of the Essex Classics Luna shirts for a more colorful option but I think those are over your budget unless you find one on sale.

I am a big fan of the Kerrits Affinity show shirts. They are not clingy like some fabrics, but still very flattering.
