Showjumping Round 2: Sunday am

he’s not big - 15.2

Edwina is tiny.

Ok…can I have this horse… AND his rider???

Anyone hear reports of how the footing is being received? It sounds firm, or is that just because the ring has so many mics?

Maher is a lovely rider.

My friend said Butch Thomas told her the footing is fabulous–though it’s hard for me to imagine Butch using that word–but whatever–he would be in a position to know.

So I guess it’s all the mics…

H’mm, we’ve got beach volleyball coming up again on our TV coverage. BV or SJ? I guess I will force myself, at great personal sacrifice, to continue watching SJ, lol.

Thats good to hear, these horses have to hold up to a lot of jumping.

The Swiss team is doing really nicely…

okay … Matt soon. Then I can go to bed.

Here come Eric and Hickstead!

What’s on Camila’s leg? It almost looks like some sort of knee brace

It’s that engineered all weather footing…

Looks like at least Germany and Sweden will get into the second round.

Footing

I heard them talking about it the other day and they said that everyone is raving about it that it isnt dusty, its a nice landing and the horses get good traction on take off

My net went to commerical during the brazilian rider Camila’s ride. What was on her right leg?

Hickstead is such a nice horse! Great clear.

Wow, that Hickstead is some animal. What a jumper.

That horse jumped beautifully! Good for them!!!

Good for Eric!

i’m so in love with hickstead… that horse is ridiculous! eyeballs in his knees, i think is what eric lamaze said once, because hickstead is so careful? haha
