2 before the break. The horse on course now is 13. Beezie goes last of 76. There are still some to watch.
It seems like some of these horses are intimidated (riders too ) by the jumps
Oh and the individuals go and there are none left, now for our teams
I still like them! It’s ok. She’s such a mare though, lol. She was like, I don’t wanna go forward!

Ok, Cumano also had a time fault. Do they ever adjust the time at the Olympics? I was a little surprised they didn’t in the qualifier given how many people went over.[/QUOTE]
Beth Underhill (ala the great Monopoly) is commentating on CBC and she said the jumping committee could change the time after the 3rd horse went, but she said Leopold would probably NOT do that
Interesting - thank you
Oh. OH. OH! I get it! I was thinking these were the only people competing for individual medals! These are the people who are competing AS individuals because they don’t HAVE a team!!! Gotcha. Now I remember all that. I was like, um… I KNOW our team’s riders are going to try for individual medals, sooooooooooo…
And yes, I’m in the, “it’s-the-Olympics-please-put-your-hair-in-a-hair-net” club.
Question for the conoisseurs:
Timefaults: How do they work? One second = one fault? The real time score thingy shows Jos and Dennis at 1 each, but the scores on the screen on the live feed shows them at 2 each.
Also, do they ever adjust the time at a competition of this caliber? I have seen it done locally, but just curious because someone made a remark about it in Friday.
There isn’t an Irish team??? That never occurred to me.
Cumano is amazing, was impressed with the irish horse also. I want a breeding to Cumano can’t seem to find anything online about him breeding??
tosses hairnet to NZ rider
That darn water jump seems to be the start of everyone crashing and burning…very few clear it, then they seem to lose it…
Hold ON! Have I been living under a rock!?!?! Little Big Man died?!?! Not to hyjack, but I just saw that in WW’s siggy!

No, that was my pet name for Teddy…he was the true Little Big (heart) man in my mind
This poor NZL horse… getting a pretty good ride and just jumping them down, but he just doesn’t seem to have the scope for this height! He was so sweet to just keep plodding along though!
That got me at first, buy I think she is referring to Teddy as a little big man.
Geez I really like CBC today… Beth Underhill seems to be the best commentator I’ve heard in awhile!

OK… I follow… You know, I have seen that on the eventing board before… There was just something about seeing it in this context and I was like WHAT!!! Ok, good. Kacey much happier now.
At least the course just seems big, but not too trappy. I have seen too many of Leopaldo’s courses put horses in real trouble if not ridden correctly.
