I love the way my Ovation “slimming” breeches fit, with one very emberassing exception: the zipper won’t stay up!!!
I have tried on every brand of breeches in 3 different tack stores (all that’s within a 2 hour radius) but for many brands, either the fabric was icky or the rise was too low.
Any recommendations?
I’d like to hear the answer to this as well. LOVE these britches and was upset they were discontinued.

What is up with Ovation?
Their Euroweave side zip breeches were my favorites. Nothing else fits quite as well. I went to my local tack shop a few weeks ago hoping to buy a few more pairs only to find they too are discontinued.
First world problems I know, but come on, this is TERRIBLE!!!
Ovation, you have failed us for the LAST time.
TC - if you really love them, you should just take them to a seamstress and have them swap the zipper out for a better one that stays up.

Is there a way to discreetly get it to stay up? Something a bit more subtle than baling twine on the zipper tied around my belt…
Seamstress might work! But I still want to buy another pair of similarly-fitting riding pants without the original problem. Why oh why is it so hard to wear pants? LOL
Centaurian, on the zipper, you can use a safety pin to keep it up. Pin it inside so it doesn’t show; you want the arm of the pin to cross right under the zipper when it’s in the “locked” position. A pain in the butt to have to unpin when you need to use the restroom, but it works a treat to keep lazy zippers in place.
I’m confused. I don’t think Ovation Slim Secret breeches are discontinued. Dover website shows them in stock.
The Euroweave Side Zip Breeches are discontinued. No regular retailers have them on their website and Ovation confirmed it.
