Is there a way to extend the time period that I can stay ‘signed on’? I used to be signed on for ages, but now I have to sign on again every day. It’s not a big deal, but I’m lazy and no one else uses my computer…
I’ll see if there’s a default set differently than it was before, but have you clicked the “remember me” button when you log on? That should keep you signed on until you click “log out.”
As an aside, for all our AOL users out there, we’ve always had compatibility issues with the forums and AOL–users will often not “really” be logged in, and clicking “remember me” is also a solution for them.
Thanks!

I just found another post where someone was not staying logged in despite having “remember me” checked. Is that the case with you as well?
Want to be sure I’m passing along accurate info–thanks!
Yes, I’m pretty sure I always click “remember me” on my home computer. I’ve had to sign on a couple times and I know I didn’t forget to check the box after the first time.
Thanks for the follow-up info. I’ve since seen that Erin was having similar problems herself, so I know that’s on the repair list!
Thanks for whatever you did! I’ve been signed on for days now
It’s still logging me out several times a day. As in if I leave a tab open and come back in a half hour or an hour, I have to log in AGAIN. I think I’ve had to log in five or six times today and I never even closed the tab, let alone the browser! I wouldn’t mind logging in daily, but every hour or so is getting tedious. I check the “remember me” box EVERY time, and it never works.
