Hi there - I’m wondering if I can put a link to my used tack sale page as my signature, or if that’s considered too much advertising?

Nope–no direct advertising in your signature line. A general link to your farm or business or info about stallions you stand would be OK, for example, but not a link to your horses for sale page, or info about discounted stud fees, for example.

I have registered for Forums and I have received verification that I am indeed registered and can reply to posts, however, when I go to reply to a post I get a message saying that I am not allowed to do so. Can you help me out here?

jac - did you try replying in a different forum? Several of them are set up to not allow replies - like Events and Missing Horses. Others, like Off Topic, are only open sometimes so you can’t post a reply when they are locked.

Thanks for providing those good suggestions, furlong. Also, jac, I noticed you have an AOL email address. If you’re also using AOL as your web browser, you may need to click the “remember me” box when you’re signing on to the site. Otherwise, sometimes AOL won’t really log you in and allow you to post.
