Looking for opinions on silver lining herbs. Are they worth the price? They Seem to have so many options. Seem to have something for everything. To good to be true?
With any herbal product there are two questions.
-
Does the plant product actually have the effect claimed, and if so how is that verified?
-
Is the plant product present in strong enough form to have the effect claimed?
I certainly know how variable cooking herbs can be, and how hard to get them tasting right when you grow them at home. Also how variable marijuana can be :).
They have an herbal dewormer. I think that is irresponsible, personally.
I have no answers for those two questions!
I’m here mostly for the title
I think from a standard herb perspective they are probably ok.
I’m not surprised by their herbal deworming, as they are a company who believes herbs are the answer for pretty much everything.
But just because herbs are not an effective deworming protocol (not in any type or amount we currently know), that doesn’t mean herbs don’t have a place
You’d need to do your own research on the condition you’re trying to help, the herb reported to help it, and see if the amount supplied by their product has any research behind it.
Otherwise it’s purely anecdotal. Not that that’s not valid. It’s just not proof.
Ahhh I didn’t even see that! Lol. The title!
Can I update the title or is to late?! lol I’m not sure. They seem to contain a lot of the same herbs for a lot of the products. Like they have, kidney liver, immune, feet bone, joint, keep cool, some mare one, digestive, reproductive, I mean sooooooo many lol.
If I was concerned about boosting general nutrition for coat, hooves, condition, fertility, or general health, I would start with a quality vitamin mineral supplement with plenty of copper, zinc and biotin.
Yes. Since it is your post, you can edit the title.
Got it! I couldn’t figure it out at first so I didn’t know if u could.
