I’m curious if anyone knows anything about this TB stallion… He stands in Virginia for a very modest stud fee. Looks like he has been used for racing breeding. Some very nice things in the pedigree for sport. He’s older, and I am two years away from another project… But it doesn’t hurt to research

Now that’s an atypical pedigree up close. Can’t tell you anything about Gentleman Gene or Slady Castle. I’ve had several with Maribeau up close who were phenomenal athletes…

I can’t find anything on his dam. I got a little excited when I thought it was Snow Maid (GB), because she foaled several runners over jumps in Ireland. But the NJ Snow Maid didn’t leave behind much of a produce record.

It is an unusual pedigree… The actual Snow Maid dam still brings some good old names to the picture up close via Slady Castle.

Gentleman Gene is definitely Interesting. Looks like he had three full siblings including one mare… But that mare only produced one foal… A gelding. Too bad… That’s an excellent mare line.

Wish I could find a conformation picture or two for Sinful Persuasion online. No such luck.

Contacted owner who was very nice. But sadly, Sinful Persuasion has passed away. She does stand a different stallion now - Gone Clubbing - a Gone West son. But the pedigree for Sinful Persuasion was definitely what I was interested in…
