I bought a pair of these some 30 years ago and adore them. My ankles are super flexible so my heels go DOWN. With regular (flat) stirrups, all of my weight ends up on the back edge of the stirrup, which causes pain and slippage. These angled stirrups were a game-changer for me, but I can’t seem to find them anymore.
Anyone know where I could get another pair? I know there are angled pads that can compensate in regular fillis irons, but I prefer a sandpaper or cheesegrater pad, so I’d rather have the angle baked into the stirrup floor instead of the pad.
I also know there are flexible stirrups out there these days, but I think I’d prefer a stable platform for my foot.
Anyone know where I could find these perma-angled stirrups?
