Thanks again. I’m old enough to remember Putin’s inaugural forays into Chechnya. I’ve read Russia-watchers who say he was installed specifically because of his willingness to invade Chechnya.

I plead ignorance but do foals born outside of the USA submit DNA to the Jockey Club? I was under the impression that each country had its own standards.

Every Country has their studbook rules and every one has required DNA proof of parentage for years.
Those that don’t require verification, can’t run in recognized (not bush track), graded, or group races in any of the popular racing countries such as Australia, the U.K. the U.S, France, Japan etc…

In that part of the world racing in the United Arab Emirates is attractive, if the horse is good enough and qualified. No idea of where Zazou’s offspring raced, though.
