Sixteen Cypress saddle pads

I keep getting ads for these saddle pads and have to admit, they are wearing me down, lol. Anyone own them? Feedback? https://www.sixteencypress.com/products/copy-of-dressage-pad-black-cognac

I’m also victim to their marketing but haven’t seen them in person yet. There’s several that really speak to me.

They certainly look nice buy I’d be worried about how the “leatherette” holds up to sweat and washing, how quickly it starts cracking and peeling.

Holds up fine on LeMieux pads FWIW.

That’s great to know! I’ve been cheap with my saddle pads but nice to know that the bougie options hold up

I have the black/cognac “leather”. Seems like a standard pad tbh. I only use mine for shows/clinics but it has held up fine for the last two years with no special care.

I guess my only complaint is that the faux leather looks pretty flat and doesn’t have the depth of color that real leather does, but I guess that’s to be expected.

I own two: the white with cognac and the light green with cognac. I’ve ridden in the green about 6 times so far and my only complaint is that the girth velcro sticks out enough that I notice it with my boot at first. So that will be where the most wear will happen I imagine on mine - I’m short and I use these on my 18hh horse so his belly tends to stick out right there lol. I only have a monoflap saddle so the top velcro straps do nothing for me but I haven’t cut them off yet because I think they’re pretty. Maybe one day when I get annoyed enough. For now I just tuck them behind the front billet strap. Other than that they’re long enough down the spine and dry pretty quick. I like the mesh material on the inside. It’s not slippery.
