SJ Day 2

Anyone rooting for someone specific? Other than the U.S.

Faraway you’re right… Tiffany did not go. Perhaps her horse was not sound this am? I thought she rode really well yesterday, considering her experience… and was looking forward to seeing her go again.

Ian Millar, Eric Lamaze and Nick Skelton. I still miss Hickstead not to mention fond memories of Milton and Big Ben.

The time allowed is VERY tight. Horses are getting time faults who are wasting no time on course.

I, too, miss Hickstead, but really enjoy watching Derly go. Love those chestnut mares!

I feel your pain! But, like you, I am now living on London time, and don’t need an alarm clock any more. We’ll have jet lag by the end of the SJ!

Frustrated as I got up early to watch to find out we have no satellite signal this morning! Following on my phone but no image and live updates are slow. Wondering too about Tiffany and Victor and why the Canadians are all riding so close together!

I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again- I LOVE Bjorn Nagel’s horse!

oooo, I really liked Argentina’s Larocca and Royal Power! I know, I’m a bit late in the game, but I really couldn’t handle getting up at 6 this morning!

Without any nationalist feelings, just looking at how the horses did yesterday I think it will be a match between Nick Skelton, McLain, Steve Guerdat, Meredith and Rolf-Goran Bengtsson! I wish that RGB had Ninja with him though, would have been nice to retire him with an olympic gold!

My trainer up next! Carlos Milthaler from Chile!

Just heard that Tiffany 's Victor is lame therefore disqualified but Canada is appealing it. So not sure whats really going on but hopefully get some solid news soon.

Way to go Ian!!

Faraway: I think your training fees are going up! lol Well done!
P.

Ian Millar went double clear!

Is anyone else getting just a plain black screen? no ads or anything?

Im watching the SN feed and they said Tiffany was DQ,ed due to hypersensitivity on horses leg and it is under appeal !!! :(

You mean Eric… One time fault. Ian had 4 faults yesterday. I read too that Victor showed hypersensitivity in one leg and they are appealing, but I don’t think.it will make a difference!

Yup. I’ve already started saving and will take up pole dancing…

anyone know who the BBC commentator is? It’s Andy something.

Saudi Arabia is having a great day!

I love the RTE commentators yesterday - unfortunately, they aren’t showing it all the time; you just have to catch them on the news… :frowning:
