Does anyone know when the team medals are presented? I have to nip out… mutter grumble.
That is unfortunate, the rule that keeps WFP out of the individual competition even though he earned a spot…
I DO NOT understand this rule. Is it the Robin Hood effect?
After the individual competition I believe.
Only 3 individuals allowed per country…
Congratulations to the medalists and especially to the home team! Way to go, Great Britain. Such a thrill to win in front of your home crowd. Very happy for you.

We didn’t win, we came second. The germans won.
Yes, well done Britain,
a really good show for the home team!
I love that grey Swedish horse. Wega? Is he a Swedish warmblood?

Still won a medal though. Still wish Jung had pulled a pole for us…!!

It’s a mare- even better you might argue! I know the dam is apparently La Fair…
Edit just checked on the official page and yes, Swedish Warmblood.

YUP! I know it is unsporting but we were wishing for the poles to fly when Michael was riding.
Good news is Mary is in Bronze if she rides clear. It can only go up after that.
The IND is going to be exciting!
When does the IND start? I am sneaking glances at this commentary at work.

Hoping he pulls one now! Would be lovely to have three amazing ladies go clear and sweep the medals.
Though actually I’m torn on rooting for the Swede. Lovely rider and I’m drooling over Wega, but how amazing would it be if Mary King could still pull Gold?
If it’s top 25 but only 3 from a country it takes out 2 GER, 2 Brits, 2 NZ and Phlilp and Jessica move into the top 25 and jump. Is that right?

I’m afraid I was being unsporting right along with you…

Everyone with a Q beside their name gets to go.
A quick Google says true.

Me too. Good job I wasn’t watching live. I got wrong at Olympia one year when my fave rider would win if the current leader pulled a pole. When he did I went Yeessss. It was totally involuntary I swear but everyone looked and my friends were mortified. :o
No love for the Germans on here. They are an awesome equestrian machine. I tip my hat to them… Well done.
So Phillip Dutton goes but Nicola Wilson and WFP do not.
Yikes, what a lousy rule.
