question/picture 1- are these bot flies? do i need to be picking these off?
number 2- i have found these on her belly… a hard lump and when i pick it off this is what is underneath … what gives ?

Yes, if they’re bot fly eggs you should pick them off. It’s a bit hard to tell from your picture because the objects are not really in focus. Bot fly eggs look like little yellow sesame seeds, and are generally pretty firmly attached to the hair - I.e., you can’t just brush them off, you have to scrape them off with your fingernail or a bot knife or something similar.
Not sure about the second picture. Could be bug bites that have scabbed up.
In a pinch I have used duct tape to remove them.
Had a young horse come in from Texas and her belly was loaded w/ these bumps and scabs. My vet just said they’re fly bites.
Have never had anything similar here in Florida.
