No noseband but WOW quite a strong combo of rein placement on that bit. Looks like one rein on a gag and the other on the elevator part?

I loved that she stayed steady and still against the horse when he got strong rather than start fighting with him/pulling and kicking.

I think you’re right. Although watching the video it looked like there were only a few moments where she was really using it - he seemed to go pretty quietly (for a show jumper anyways lol) for most of the round. I’ve only seen the one video, but I’ll give her benefit of the doubt and say this is an instance where it appears that a severe bit used by a quiet rider seems to be a better option than a softer setup that she has to constantly fight with him on.
