The champion AQHA sire, Skys Blue Boy, was put down October 30 after complications from laminitis. He was 19.

He was a gorgeous horse with many wins in AQHA Hunters. Is his sire Blue Skywalker still alive? Condolences to his owners.
As far as I can tell, Sky Blue Walker (SBB’s sire) is still alive at age 27.

My first mare was by Sky Blue Walker. A very special mare. I miss her very much. Lots of talent. Huge heart. Quick learner.
