I need to buy a bridle for a new pony… what Is a good quality brand that isn’t super expensive? We won’t be showing him any time soon, but I can’t abide plasticy feeling tack… but by the same token the bridle will likely be cared for predominantly by his littles and potential is there for it to be manhandled a bit.
The pony is a small, and I’m assuming any size small bridle will fit?
The other small pony came with his tack so I’m completely in the dark!
Bobby’s Tack makes small pony bridles (I think they are labeled Shetland on his website but Small Pony on others). They make several lines, the less expensive is nice quality for an every day bridle. If you measure the pony and call his shop he’ll also put together a bridle made out of various size pieces. Our small wears his Shetland bridle with a regular pony brow band. Doesn’t cost any extra if you contact him directly.
