For those that use the smartpak supplements is the label they send in your shipments off the actual product you’re getting or just a representation of the product?
I’ve emailed smartpak but haven’t heard back yet. I think they’re closed but I’m sure they will respond Monday. I figured I’d ask here because it’s the go to place for me.
Just got Equishure and the label said best before July 2019.
I just got a supplement bucket from Smartpak. Unfortunately I’ve already trashed the paperwork that came in the box. The actual bucket doesn’t have a best by date on it.
Sorry I’m not much help, but kudos to you for reading those labels!
I thought she meant the sheet of paper with a printout of the supplement label that comes with the smartpaks. I’ll admit I never look at them, just toss in recycling, but I only get one supplement in smartpaks. Now I’m curious so I’m going to look next time. I hope OP reports back what SmartPak has to say; I’m thinking it is probably just a general label printout and the date has nothing to do with what they put in the smartpaks (at least I hope so!).
I believe that’s just to give you the ingredients - not the actual label from the tub they filled your Smartpaks with. Lots of those labels don’t have dates on them at all. Please let us know when they get back to you.
Yes, that’s the label I meant. I spoke to someone at Smartpak yesterday. Everyone in quality control was off but she said they would check into it and let me know.
I think it’s just a generic label of what’s in my smartpak, but after I saw it I had to make sure.
I think part of me was hoping it was expired and would be the reason it doesn’t work as well as it did before. My gelding has fecal water syndrome, aka poopy legs, and it’s getting harder and harder to find things that help.
