You can’t go wrong with dress boots, they’re always proper. Brown field boots are hard to find, but they do pop up from time to time on eBay. I’m sure there are some out there on Craigslist, too, but I find that their web site is too difficult to search, as it’s broken into too many small geographic areas.
Well, apparently I am a total idjit because the ones I DID win are field boots. Some other ones I was bidding on were dress boots.
Obviously I need more Christmas candy/cookies/fudge/apple cider to boost my hyperactivity and loss of memory.

I was emailing with the seller a few months back. I have seen pictures and these boots are gorgeous with very little wear. They are my size but too tall, and the calf bulge would be in the wrong place for me to alter them.
Come on, aren’t there any 6’ gals out there that can give these babies a home?
