Still no snake but there is a reptile show/expo in town this weekend I am going to visit. IF the snake comes to reality, it won’t be before next spring/summer. I am trying to do my due diligence.
Anyway, I was leaning toward a hognose but am kind of interested in rosy boas.
I don’t want a big snake (3 ft or less) and these snakes are desert snakes which fits with our local humidity and climate (in the summer). A good heat source will take care of the rest of the year.
The rosy boas are said to be really chill and easy to handle. We will see.
