Snug Pax or Stowaway bags?

I’m wanting some new saddle bags ,but I’m having a hard time choosing . At the moment I’m trying to decide on either Snug Pax or Stowaway .

I need a pommel bag and cantle bag .Mostly a pommel bag though . Oh yeah, I have a western saddle , but will hopefully get a endurance or “hornless” saddle (one day).

Bump?

I’ve a couple of stowaway cantle bags for years and am pretty partial to them. They hold up well and I like their choice of configurations. However, I think snugpax are pretty nice as well. I don’t think you can go wrong with either of them.

I love my Snug Pax, I use both cantle and pommel bags and have enough room for stuff I need to carry.

I have SnugPax (cantle and pommel) and have been very happy with them. I don’t think you can go wrong either way!

I have the Stowaway cantle and two of their pommel (one regular, one “deluxe” pommel with the water bottles) - I prefer the cantle bags. The pommel bag has a lot of straps that don’t really seem to go anywhere, like it’s up to you to just figure out how and where to strap them on.

The cantle bag fits very nicely around the seat without any interference or bouncing, and there are a lot of pockets and places to stuff your “stuff.”

Lots of pockets in the pommel bags as well but, like I said, I’m not crazy about the randomness of the straps. It seems like I can never really get it to fit “snug” to the front of my saddle. I ride in two different saddles; one is a Tucker Cheyenne (with horn), the other is sort of a “Western endurance” with no horn.

I have the Stowaway Cantle Bags. I have used them with western, english, modified mcclellen, barefoot treeless & and Aussie. The only one it didn’t work will with was the Aussie. Plently of straps so it can be hooked up in a variety of ways. Loads of pockets to store stuff.
I have never tried the others but I have heard good things about them
