I’m doing the Middleburg HT tomorrow, and just wondered whether this rule was being enforced (and whether I should rustle up a shoe string or similar tonight!); though I competed at Loudoun at Morven last month and nothing was said about it.
I could e-mail the organizer but I think she has way more important things on her place ATM!
Isn’t that just an FEI rule (at the moment)?
I just doubled checked…I only see that rule for FEI levels…not in the USEF rules.

Hey, further question: is the FEI rule attached to the saddle or to any piece of tack?
I think it just has to be attached to something. So to the breastplate I think works. I think you can braid a piece of string into the mane too…as long as it doesn’t come out.
