Now that my custom didn’t work - just give me brands that have worked for your for your OTTBs! He has a fairly typical conformation, semi-high withers with a bit of hollowing under his withers. Other than that, fairly straight forward. Only other issue is weight of the saddle for me since I can’t lift much more than 20-25 lbs because of surgeries I’ve had. Thanks VERY much!
Have you tried barrel saddles? They tend to have higher gullets and work really well for a tb conformation.
I had found a little trophy saddle made by Double C Steinhoff line. Very nice little saddle. It was too narrow for my horses, but they come in 4 different widths/bars, light weight and they make bigger seat sizes. You can get a brand new one with bells and whistles under $1000. You don’t have to have exotic leather or even bling. Just a nice basic saddle. I did talk with them on the phone and I believe they will even send you a demo saddle or a tree to fit to your horse. Not the same quality as my custom Courts, but pretty darn nice.
My daughters powder puff gelding in the little saddle last year. He was such a pudge last year. This was their #2 tree, almost but not quite wide enough. Their #1 or maybe #2 tree is what you would be looking at.

I hope it works for you. They tend to travel some so call. Not sure if you are trail riding but you may prefer a leather wrapped horn vs rawhide, so ask about that.
