So I did a thing today

There’s our girl! Looking so grown up.

Pretty Itty Bitty.

Itty Bitty is perfect !

She’s getting so big, so fast . . . but is STILL very much a kitten! She goes in three weeks for her spay. I’m already writing down her care instructions and figuring out which toys to pack . . . she will eat them out of house and home, I swear.

Still hasn’t quite grown into her ears. :slightly_smiling_face: Wonder how big she’ll get.

Little Miss Big Personality is looking quite mature in these latest shots.
my, how fast they shoot up. They don’t stay little for long, do they?

Even though she is sitting in some undignified and silly poses, she looks like she is an elegant cat. Love the shape of her head. Almost Siamese looking. Seems like yesterday that she was so tiny…

You mean in the last week or since I got her?

Yes, she’s definitely hit a growth spurt in the last couple of weeks. Her paws suddenly look HUGE.

This is the part of raising kittens that makes me sad - I love them when they’re kittens, and I love them when they’re adults, and I love them in those teenage years too, but that transition from what was to what will be is inevitably sad for me.

I mean during the last 24 hours probably lol !
Can’t be sad about anything ITTY BITTY - she’s super ! ALL.THE.TIME. !

As much as she eats, it’s amazing she’s not the freaking Goodyear Blimp . . .

I have to feed Mick and Sassy first, when I get up. Then I feed Maximus and Tiny (because they eat/sleep in the bathroom). Meanwhile, Itty-Bitty and Hammie are in their crates, wanting OUT. But feeding Mick and Sassy first gives them a chance to eat in peace, before I let the Piranha out of her crate . . . because she will eat hers, and then eat some more, and then eat everyone else’s, and then eat some more . . . and more.

She sure knows how to strike a pose! Such a pretty girl!

Well, it just occurred to me that this is her 3-month anniversary - making her about 4 1/2 months old.

Has it really been that long?!

She may be looking more mature, but she still screams for her food, resists bedtime, and scrambles to get to me when I come in the door at night. And plays with her toys. And drives poor Hammie crazy.

I do a lot of that type of stuff myself and I am an adult. :joy_cat:

Is she friends with any of the other cats now? Or is it still just Hammie? She might still be too young and obnoxious.

Surprisingly, yes . . . Maximus and Tiny are playing with her more (though they’ve made it clear that hanging out is not in the cards) and even Sassy plays with her. They don’t cuddle or anything, but they chase each other through the house and play together with the toys. 9 times out of 10, if she’s in my room, she’s either asleep on my bed, or on the perpetual pile of clothes in the laundry basket.

just wait til she becomes a rebellious teen. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I still think she’s a bobcat cousin.

My youngest is a bit over a year now and he still does all that…

It took 4 years for my pack to finally decide that Baler was not demon spawn. Jack will curl up with him, play with him and let him hang out a bit. Duncan still hates him and pretends he is not there. The rest of the cats - meh.

For the most part, I think she is still too young and silly for the rest of your gang.
