In Oklahoma, the public infrastructure measure was defeated. The most historic thing was Tulsa elected its first black mayor.
Kevin hern went back to Congress. Ugh.

The people of TX chose Ted Cruz AGAIN, just because he’s republican, even though they don’t like him. Can we at least get a different republican if the entire state hates him so much.
I was surprised about the abortion measure in Florida. How long has that 60% requirement been in place?
The Democratic candidate for Alabama’s newly drawn 2nd congressional district (the one they had to take to the Supreme Court because the state continues to disenfranchised Black voters every way it can) won, so that’s a little ray of hope for me.
My state, Massachusetts, predictably voted 65+ percent Democratic.
I’m very surprised (and happy) that Maryland went blue instead of voting for Hogan.
In WA, we managed to keep a tax on capital gains over $249K that is successfully funding education, and our Climate Change law, too.
Locally, the female incumbent Dem defeated a MAGA challenger for a seat in the House!
We are sending our Dem Senator and all our Dem Reps back to Congress (and a moderate R defeated a MAGA R for one seat, too— in eastern Red WA!!)
Our state executives are all Dems too!
By god, Washington remains a blue blob over here in the far left corner. Our new governor is our old AG. He’s a tough, no nonsense, take it straight at you kind of guy, too.
I am in MA…so it was a blue wave as usual!
Missouri approved Amendment 3. This overturns the state’s abortion ban and guarantees women the right to make their own reproductive decisions.
This was the only bright spot in an otherwise dismal night.
I’m in Florida (well, not currently, I’m in the UK) so nuff said.
How long has that 60 percent requirement been in place,re abortion issue?
That surprised us also.
Vimemam won on our district. His opponent was not married and used a picture of him with a friend’s family in ads.
Kaine also won
Since 2006. Only 26 states even allow a ballot measure to change the state constitution.
So close at 57%
Surprisingly, since 2006. The irony is that this amendment did not pass by even close to 60%.
In NC, Democratic governor, Lt governor, Superintendent of Public Instruction and broke the super majority of the legislature
That crazy Lt Gov didn’t win did he?
In Vermont, we re-elected Democratic congresscritters, retained Phil Scott ® as governor and lost the D supermajority in our legislature. So a mixed bag. Generally Russian-backed Christofascist carpetbaggers get thrown out early. Sad that the Coolidge Foundation has been co-opted by the right wing nut jobs. Bekah Mercer on the board for Christ’s sake.
no he did not
Thank goodness
