So What Happened?

…to the thread on the first rides of the 4 yr old Black and White TB stallion? …. how did that just go poof?

Inquiring minds want to know, . . . . please!

Interesting. I commented on that post and went back to my history to see if I could tell what happened and it IS if the conversation never existed. I can’t find my comment anywhere in my history. Hmmmmm

If the COTH moderators considered the OPs posts to be advertising, that would have made the thread disappear.

LOL not the desired affect if trying to advertise and instead of us all coming on and saying what a great horse I want to buy it, instead posts of how he is being wrecked and ways to fix it, so none of us would buy any horse bred by them as they probably start them all the same way.

If you do a search on the COTH bulletin board for the OP and the SHN Payback program, you will find that a lot of people have been upset with them over the years.

Harkens back to the days the SHB Forum got shut down for days due to thinly veiled advertising efforts. This particular poster had the same picture on another COTH Forum last week with a different topic at the same time, can’t remember. Admit I took it as a legit training topic at first but as it went on realized it was “showcasing” the stud, know better next time.

Mods will, let some stuff ride but not this. They don’t even issue a warning and selectively delete, it’s a poof.

okay, clear now. I didn’t know there was some history. Glad I’m not the forum police . I’m just ‘kind of’ nosey… I didn’t figure that anyone had posted anything too snarky and it wouldn’t mean that they’d delete the whole thread. Makes sense on the advertising then.

I was wondering when that was going to go poof. She made the mistake of posting in two different places. One, where she wanted to know what people thought of her stallion after he’d been under saddle for a short period of time, and the other one offering him at stud. I don’t remember if she mentioned that he was a stallion in the under saddle thread. But it wasn’t hard to put together considering she said he was a thoroughbred, And he was a Pinto.

Yes it was mentioned he was a stallion and they took absolutely no notice of anything that was said, even though all were in agreeableness, just posts about how good he was and how good they thought he was.

That is too bad as it was a weak stallion at best. I guess some people can’t see the forest for the trees!

I mentioned advertising and saw a number of posts in disagreement, patting their backs… There is a long history. This could be a good thread on choosing the right sire. Blood on top.

We can’t know that. Only time will tell. I do not know a thing about the horse, but that is how these things work

That’s a little harsh. Hard to tell without seeing him in the flesh. He’s young and only just started.

Anyone know what became of his sire, Risque Remarque? The note on her website says he was sold to Calumet Farm, but he’s not listed among their stallions in Kentucky or anywhere else.

BloodHorse now lists him as standing at stud in Arizona: https://www.bloodhorse.com/stallion-register/stallions/167461/risque-remarque

“Colorworld” Ranch, where he was standing, sold him, according to the website.

I believe he is still at Calumet, but has never really been advertised. He is listed at Calumet on Kentucky Thoroughbred Development Fund approved stallions for 2019. http://khrc.ky.gov/KBIF/2019%20KTDF%20Stallions%20by%20Farms.pdf

I didn’t see his name listed in the 2019 stallion reports. Was he exclusively used for AI or non-TB mares?

Also, whatever became of Polar Foxx?

ETA: Never mind. She is in Florida or was. May she have found a great riding home.

![](http:\/\/img.equinenow.com\/slir\/w350-c5x4\/equine\/data\/photos\/1278717t\/1563290971\/white-spotting-gene-horse.jpg) Due to a drastic herd downsize, Polar Foxx is available. 2013 white Thoroughbred mare. Granddaughter of Aidrie Apache. Shes an amazing mother, and also sound as can be if you rather ride her. She has huge floaty movement and is a good performance cross for Thoroughbreds or warmbloods. Offered either as a package deal with her 2019 Risqu Remarque colt, or separate. Mare priced in the mid four figures, pm for package price and we are open to short payment plans, but if she isnt sold by weaning we will put her back under saddle and price will go up.
