Do not buy SoftStall Advantage!! I have 17 of them and they are falling apart after aprox. 6 months of use. The coating comes off quickly in high traffic areas and a plastic pitch fork will stick into it. When you try to patch it is a total disaster. The company has refused to honor the warranty. Also, even before it falls apart it’s worthless. You may as well get regular rubber mats. SoftStall Advantage did not not save me any bedding or labor. My horses had hock sores without a lot of shavings.
Thanks! I actually have one soft stall and one soft stall advantage, I like the older soft stall much better. When I told the company the advantage was pealing they would not replace mine either. My horse will be back in the first generation as soon as the boarding horse leaves mid month.
Sorry to hear of competitor’s product failures. We have “tried and true” to share.
We launched the ComfortStall® High Performance flooring system 15 years ago and have over 5,000 satisfied clients. With the input of Cornell University Vet Hospital we upgraded in 2003 from tire crumb filled tubes to the Chemically Cross-linked PE foam underlayment padding they had been using in the hospital. In additon, only after 18 months of TESTING at Cornell we jettisioned the first generation fabric based topcover and launched in late 2007 with a double reinforced rubber sheeting.
We offer a NO BULL 5 year warranty.

Thank you JoyRide for posting information on your product here. I hope it will keep others from having the same experience that I did with a product that is not “tried and true”. Comfort Stall is more expensive up front than other competitors but also provides a longer warranty. I spent less on SoftStall but had problems in 3 months and a complete failure of the product after about 6 months of use. I believe that Stable Comfort has a 3 year warranty.
When you buy from Comfort Stall you are buying from a US company. I am stuck trying to get my money back from a Canadian company.
I am thinking fo building a barn with a long sidewall of stalls (portable) about 50 feet so I can adjust the size of the stalls as needed. Can you put Comfort Stall down the 50x 12 strip and anchor it to both ends and the sides? It would basically be one piece and the stalls would float above it. TIA
Softstall Advantage is horrible!
My softstall advantage stalls have completely failed in 1.5 years. The product does not hold up, the customer service is horrible and it is all a big waste of money. Because the company is located in Canada, you don’t have US law to assist you. BEWARE
I am still using mine. I keep finding bits on the blue lining in his stall as I’m mucking. It’s been about a 1.5 years and mine continues to slowly fall apart. The manufacturer says I mustn’t have installed the soft stall correctly and offers nothing. So I am wondering when I finally do invest in a replacement what’s a good alternative soft stall alternative avaible in Canada?
