Software for invoicing - owners with multiple horses

What is the best software program for sending invoices to owners with multiple horses, when each horse might get a slightly different bill depending on what went on that month? Also, any of them track mileage?

For example, Horse A got 8 training rides, clipped, day rate for coaching at shows x4, hauling x2.

Horse B got 16 training rides, clipped, day rate for coaching at shows x2, hauling x1.

Something so that the cost per horse can be broken down for each owner.

And cheap is good!!

Quickbooks.

Set up each client as a customer, with each horse as a “sub client” under each client. Assign billable time/charges to each horse throughout the month. End of month, create invoice for the client (horse charges should appear to add to invoice). Group charges by horse. Add an empty line in between horses on the invoice and write “Subtotal for Dobbin I: $XXX.XX” in the descriptor line, and same after Dobbin II. Email or print.

With Quickbooks online, they can even pay right from the comfort of their house.

Thanks, yank, but I’m looking to replace QB. QB is too expensive, and I do invoicing for a few different outfits, and i’d have to pay the monthly fee for each outfit.

It’s hard to know which would be the best without knowing exactly how you want to use the software. However there is this handy listing you could check out; http://www.capterra.com/horse-software/

How computer savvy are you?

Another option would be to use Microsoft Access to make a custom invoicing program for yourself.

I use Freshbooks and love it. Easy to use, not too expensive, and many options!

This has a free version, multi company and a free trial.: https://www.invoiceninja.com/invoici…ment-features/
