I am interested in installing a hydraulic jack on my gooseneck trailer. Does anybody have experience with a solar powered jack?
Our dump trailer has a solar panel that keeps a battery charged that operates the dump cylinder.
Our cattle cake feeder uses that same system to work the motor that dispenses those pellets.
Try adding a battery, charged by a solar panel, that will operate your hydraulic jack.
Maybe something like that would help?
The installer recommended it as a less expensive alternative. I’ve never seen one so I want to ask are horse people about it.
