I had posted earlier, have a 5 yr old QH, is downhill, had a wide Tucker Old West saddle, was pinching his shoulders, had white patches.
Sad, but had to saddle shop (which I HATE!!!), got a Steele Trail Boss demo for 3 weeks…

I LOVED it, sat me WAY back, never would have guessed my horse was downhill. I did a Richard Winters 3 day clinic and a Tim Boyer 1 day clinic in it.
I literally was SUPER SAD when I had to send it back on Monday.
I ordered a new saddle, the Wade…

Pretty much as pictured, but in the Dark Chocolate, so will be several shades of a darker brown.
It fit my horse wonderfully, sent in several pics, guy was VERY nice, weird thing is that it is just the REGULAR tree, nothing special.
A HUGE thumbs up for Steele Saddles. I would even admit, the whole process wasn’t even bad or a hassle.
Now, I will probably ride my old man, my Tucker fits him fine, the idea of fighting the saddle riding my young guy just doesn’t sound appealing.
I should get my saddle in 6 weeks
