The seen where they are jumping in the water filled ditch and everybody is getting wet (some more than others), you could see the horses breath, which to me means its MUCH TOO COLD to be messing around with a water jump.
I could only dream of riding bravely up and over their fences! I’d need something mighty stiff in my stirrup cup, as I don’t think they send out a third field
I especially like the “look, ma, no hands!” at about 2:55 in the second video.
I do wish the video didn’t have the music though. In the beginning, I prefer the sounds of hounds & hoofbeats, and at the fence, I think I’d like to hear some of the commentary from the gallery.
Or how about the guy who falls in the watery ditch and just walks away from his horse without even trying to catch it as it jumps out. A member of the gallery is seen to walk off after the horse.
The last guy in the first video got a big LOL from me. 
I hated the music in the 2nd video too, but then I’m an old fogey.
If you ever get the chance to watch the video/DVD of the Scarteens, grab a couple of hunting friends and a glass or two of wine, and enjoy! It’s got some really funny moments involving jumping (or not!) drains etc. Lots of hound music too. We have the DVD and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve watched it.
