The regular Pipers don’t fit me so I am trying the higher rise ones. We shall see. $39
If they don’t fit because they tend to suck down your waist/legs–which is my fit issue with the Pipers–sadly I didn’t find the mid-rise to be of much help. They’re cute breeches, though, and for $35 are a great buy!
Dover’s new $40 breeches don’t come in the flashy colors but are super nice and don’t fit weird like the Pipers. I bought 3 pairs.

I gave up on the Pipers when the mid rise tall still had the same tiny amount of fabric to cover your butt. I’m 6’ tall and that is not going to do it!
I miss Schumachers, they knew how to make a comfortable good-looking breech for a tall person.
I tried Pipers and they rubbed me raw on my butt/seat bone area. Tried riding in them 4 different times- in both of my saddles, hot days/cold days, trot sets/light hacks-nothing worked!
I so want to like them but man they did a number on me.

They don’t have the wider waistband, just FYI, but otherwise fit like a nice midrise and the fabric is a good stretch woven kind of like the ovation euroweaves. Fit is good and you can’t beat the price. I can’t get pipers to stay up on me, and these are great.
