I’d love to meet you when I come up to visit my family. Could you "re"mail me please? Thank-you so much.

I was thinking of going.
I don’t think my barn is showing there now because they are going to Bend, Brawleys,… are in Hood River now…
I will try and contact some people I know also.

I will try to be there most of the day on Sunday.
I know rain is in the forecast, , thus it depends on how hearty I am feeling Sunday morning!!

That might have been Bumpkin . She is usually found on the H/J panel.

Now really Bumpkin, when ISN"T rain in the forecast before the fourth of July in the NW???

Sorry couldn’t resist…I am truly jealous. Already 116 degrees on my patio, in the shade on last Sunday.

Not rain, SHOWERS. There is a difference you know.

Sorry it wasn’t me.
There was a real nice girl who emailed me not too long ago from Bainbridge.
I think she does not post much, or is a lurker still.
Hoopoe she lives next to our old mentor from EEC!!! Who is doing quite well.
If you haven’t found her yet Jen let me know, and I shall see if I can locate the olde email.

Well I will perch up at the top of the bleachers under the lovely Douglas Fir trees!!!

I’m going up for the fourth of July…my dad lives up there. You in that area?

“The older I get, the better I used to be.”

Where does your dad live?
Bainbridge?
I live east of Seattle in Microsoft land

Today was perfect horseshow weather.
Tomorrow, the Adult Classes under Victor Hugo Vidal will be even better!!

Bumpkin, I think the “old gang” is getting togethar at the LWSC show next weekend. I will be sure to wear my cap.

I arrived at the horseshow just missing seeing Elliot’s brother “Woody” win and place in some classes, I think Long Stirrup, and of course it was dry until my arrival and started to “shower”.
The stands under trees were gone! So I bravely sat watching the hunter rounds and kept an eye out for a COTH baseball cap and spotted one sitting in the judges stand, right next to VHV!!!
Well I could not bring myself to just yelp out, “Hey Hoopoe”, to the lady in the cap, so I sat watching the rounds, glancing over to the stand waiting to catch her eye.
I finally did and oh joy!! It was Hoopoe!!
As we sat in the mounting “showers” we chatted and had a lovely time.
Then Hoopoe and I went up to the judges booth and I actually got to watch the final few classes flanking the great Victor Hugo Vidal and catching some of his wonderful humour.
Hoopoe has a wonderful sense of humour also, and I hope that we shall meet at some more shows.

can you give any information about the recreational areas around seattle and vancouver?

i am thinking of going out there soon.
