Sorry for the excessive questions....barn question of the day! Outside lights over the rib of metal

Somehow every light we want to center on the exterior, the bumped out part of the metal rib is there, not the dipped in part. (hope that makes sense)

So instead of two lights spaced evenly (which is fine, but) I wondered if anyone had a mount that we could buy to put over the rib.

We would like a commercially made product if possible. Apparently a simple wood mount would void our entire metal warranty.

photo please…

as for mounts, there maybe an adjustable off the shelf model but it sounds like from your post you would need/want a custom fabricated model …of which anything can be built to fit your requirements

We have used these for what you need and they worked fine for that:

They are made for all kinds of electrical work.
Should be acceptable for your guarantee requirements.
Any electrician ought to have some scraps around that would work for the little you would need.

Bluey that stuff is known as “unistrut”

but I kind of got the feel from OP’s post that they were looking for an appealing look rather than utility

What if she Rustoleum painted the unistrut to match her roof or color scheme? It would blend easily then.

How about a large escutcheon or plate which would straddle a larger area and take away attention from the line made by the ribs? For example, look at the plate behind this meter which is painted the same color as the siding. If you had a plate like that under each light fixture you wouldn’t notice where the lines in the siding were and it would provide a flat surface to mount your light. If you used a round plate you could paint it the same color as the light fixture and that might look nice:

For example you could add a large round black escutcheon on the wall under a fixture like this and it would complement the style of the fixture: [IMG2=JSON]{“data-align”:“none”,“data-size”:“full”,“height”:“212”,“width”:“266”,“src”:"https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31ixPZvd62L.AC_SY400.jpg)

Here. I found a site which sells the plates and has lots of photos for ideas. They are called mount blocks:
