Source for 500 gallon arena watering tank?

The only ones I’m finding online are in TX. I’m in NJ! Thoughts?

I bought two old steel fuel tanks at a farm auction, for $20. They are 200 gallons each. One had $50 worth of diesel fuel in it. We use one for our farm diesel fuel, on a stand. The other is a water tank, which we can put on a small trailer, for fire control around our farm (but you can use it for anything you like- like arena watering). So I would go looking for farm auctions in your area, see if something like this may be offered for sale. Or, you can spend more money and buy a new plastic one.

How about those big white cubes with the metal cages you see on pickup trucks and trailers? Dunno how many gallons the hold but it is a bunch. I know trucking companies get DEF delivered in them so maybe you could find one cheap…

check Tractor Supply in New Jersey…if not stocked they can bring it in

Agree with Tractor Supply. They can order one. Hopefully shipping won’t be crazy!

I should have been more clear. I am looking for a watering tank on a trailer, with an engine that pumps the water out to water your arena. The whole shebang. I’m not looking for just a tank. Thanks for the suggestions, though…

Are there even any manufacturers out there that sell the “finished product”? Most I have seen appear to be cobbed together with parts laying around…

I haven’t ever seen the whole contraption for sale, but TSC can order you most of the parts. Not sure TSC will have the right trailer for the job, that might need to be sourced from an implement dealer if you are looking for something with more clearance than a typical bumper pull “landscape” type trailer.

Ask landscaping companies, they use those tanks to spray golf courses and parks.
Those with orchards also use those sprayers, as agricultural product companies.

This company builds them here, but sell nationwide.
There are many other such companies in other places.

If you scroll way down, you will find their fire fighting sprayer, that is what we use to fight fires and to water the arena, but many others would also work.

*Disclaimer - I work for ABI Attachments

If you are looking for a solid & reliable Water Trailer, ABI builds their 500 Gallon in Indiana and it will ship standard LTL to NJ in 7-10 business days (depending on time of year). There are usually incentives every month & they try to cover a good amount of the shipping.

NOW we’re talkin’! Thanks Bluey and Ikweber!
