Residence of the SOUTHERN TIER or auction barn goers PLEASE keep an eye out for this mare. Her name is Joy, she is a belgian mare, approx 18yr, with very distinct markings- she will be easily identifiable. PLEASE print this and hang it anywhere you can.
Joy went missing from her field on Saturday, March 21 2009. It is believed she is lost and wandering, we could only hope that she was not stolen. She was located in the Southern Tier of NY in the town of Lockwood on Dean Creek Rd- but could be ANYWHERE by now. We all know how horses can travel. She is VERY friendly and although she is big she will not hurt you, she is very gentle so please don’t be afraid to catch her!
PLEASE help if you can- ANY and ALL leads would be greatly appriciated.
Both owner and previous owner (myself) are worried and very upset, we are hoping she is returned / found safe and sound.
