Awhile back I was in financial distress and let one of my OTTB Thoroughbred mares go to my blacksmith on condition that , if she didn’t work out, she would be returned to me (lovely 16.2hh bay mare). I thought she would be a great hunter. A couple months went by and suddenly the blacksmith was gone (divorce) and so were all his horses. When I tracked him down I was told she had been sold but he didn’t know to whom. Called his ex and she refused to say. There was no contract ( a mistake I will NEVER make again) and I am just trying to find her to make sure she has a good home and to let the new owners know there is a place for her if needed.
