Thanks guys! It’s been a long road but it’s amazing what horses can recover from. Hopefully this will help future people not feel despair when facing a similar injury. I know you guys helped me a lot!

What a great owner to keep a blind horse and then do this as well. A lot of work and money.
Horses can injure themselves even in a padded stall wrapped in bubble wrap.
If you didn’t wean off the wraps, that would have helped prevent that sort of rebound swelling. If it’s still fat, I’d wrap again, and wean off after a few days of 24x7 wrapped. You don’t want the lymphatic system there permanently damaged

Silver sulfadiazine ointment slathered on will help protect it til it finishes healing. Don’t be too ambitious cleaning it off between applications, as you can disturb any scab which is beneficial. This approach usually avoids exuberant granulation aka proud flesh…
