What are you using around the farm for spiders and ants?
Tis the season and I’ve already killed 2 big wolf spiders in my house. I’m sorry spider lovers, but when their legs are as long as my hand, I just can’t do them in my house. Our barn and shop are already running rampant with Black Widows. So what is everyone’s favorite spray that I can apply monthly around the place? I’d be looking to do the feed room, barn, shop, tack container, house, and bunk house, so it also has to be animal friendly.
Secondly, A N T S. Red, nasty ants that quite literally chew through my electric. Their mounds are so big that they are building “ant highways” in my grass. They are already popping up all over my yard after the recent rain. Last year I would put the ant dust on the mounds and water them down, and they mounds would go inactive… for a week… and then would pop right back up where they were originally. What are your favorite tips/tricks?
