I don’t remember who, if anyone, told me about breathing in a horse’s nostrils. I do it because that is how horses greet each other. I don’t BLOW in their nostrils. I just put my nose up to theirs and let them breathe into my nostrils and then I breathe into theirs. Gently, just as they do.
I’ve had some nice “conversations” with horses that way.
But I don’t recommend it wholesale. It could be dangerous.
