Cool. I’ve heard other good stuff about this place. I’m in SC so I’ll have to keep that in mind!

A couple of threads are going around about people’s experiences with bad customer service, but it may be helpful for COTHers to know where to go for GOOD customer service.
Whose customer service have you been particularly pleased with?[/QUOTE]
Pleasant Ridge Tack

They are always awesome. And sometimes they throw “freebies” in with the order.
Also, Schneider’s http://www.sstack.com/
Riding Warehouse. Besides quick shipping (especially if you are in CA) and competitive prices they have great customer service. I ordered a pair of half chaps that ended up being too small. There was only one pair in the size I wanted to exchange them for, so I called. They were able to hold the new pair and ship them when the small pair was returned. And were super happy to do it too!

Canadian again, but Bahr Saddlery is absolutely stellar.
I love Mary’s Tack and Saddle around San Diego, they have an online store too.
Adam’s!
Mary’s too
Love this thread! Great idea.
My go to is Smartpak. I have always had good customer service from them.
Smartpak consistently has made any single thing I complained about right.
Dressage Extensions is great.
I’ve also had good luck with Dover who let me change an order my husband had placed for me for Christmas to what I really wanted instead of what he thought I wanted. And it was cheaper!

DeNiro - sent me zippers and parts for boot repair from Italy
CWD - I think they get a bad rap for customer service, but anytime I’ve had a major issue with tack, it has been resolved quickly and on their dime (e.g., repair, replacement). This is dealing with their California office.
I’ve never had any real issues with SmartPak or Dover except that when I put my SmartPaks on hold they didn’t just get put on hold but completely deleted out of my horse’s profile. However, sometimes the selection and all the gaming around with pricing gets old with these shops.
Second (or are we to third?) The Clothes Horse
Beval went above and beyond when I bought a saddle from them recently

Dover Saddlery has been wonderful to deal with for returns or problems. You pay Nordstrom prices, but get Nordstrom service.
Riding Warehouse is also great to deal with – fast shipping, always good about notifying if something is backordered, and send a label so you don’t have to pay to return anything. And if you do a return, they are fast about processing and making the refund.
Netequestrian.com has also been good for me, although they can be a little slow to respond if you do have an issue. But they make it right in the end.
Another vote for Pleasant Ridge. I have also had good service at Apple Saddlery.
Greenhawk has just gotten worse and worse over the last 20 years; I don’t even look at their catalogue/flyers anymore.
If I’m ordering from USA, I’ve had great luck with Chicks, Schneider’s, Big Dee’s, Dressage Extensions… and there was some other little place I can’t remember the name… they were awesome, I found them through ebay.

The Distance Depot/Horse Lover’s Outlet
Carousel Horse Tack -Is local to me but she has an eBay store, a website, and the physical store. AMAZING, over-the-top customer service. I really recommend them.
I will miss Miller’s for the rest of my life.
Dover was great in its early years as was SmartPak.
Dressage extensions has been great, but weren’t they bought by someone?
It is worth getting on the Tack Room’s email list. I know in the past I’ve gotten (either once or twice a year) a 25% off coupon for any item. It’s only for those who get their emails. That’s I afforded my Rambo wug. https://www.tackroomonline.com
Riding Warehouse is definitely my go to for online shopping- love them!!
In person, Bartville Tack in PA is super.
I won’t touch Dover with a 10 foot pole unless I go into the store for something I absolutely need right now.
