Thank you so much for posting this! I just tried the TSF girth but it isn’t angled back quite enough. Still have angled billets when it’s in the girth groove and it still crept up. :-(. Which one of these girths is set back the most? I’m trying to figure it out but would love to hear your thoughts!!
I don’t think it is the most angled, but for my pear-shaped, hugely well-sprung, almost-pony with very set back shoulders - the Delfina (20") is well proportioned and seems to be helping keep the saddle in place along with a thinline sheepskin pad. The girth is a nice quality and not as hard and stiff out of the box as the TSF. She has a pretty wide chest proportionately - not having any problems with gapping.
I don’t do rubber or those air cell girths. I used a wool covered girth for 20 years and can’t find them anymore for dressage. So the most important thing to me was butter soft leather. So I like my Albion anatomical.
Hate my TSF girth. I have one in the jump style and it gaps but my biggest complaint is the elastic is so stiff it’s like having none. I never use it. I need to rehome it.
I recently got a JRD anatomic girth, and really like it. I had been reading all the reviews on the other brands, and was so confused. I saw the JRD one for sale on FB, and the seller agreed to trade for a brand new BOT saddle pad I had. It is well made, and nicely padded, and does seem to keep the saddle from sliding forward and the girth from being up against the elbows. My fussy Lipizzan mare doesn’t seem to mind it. They run $150 new…
Bump, can I nominate this thread to be put this in the Reference section?

That would be very cool.
And also a bit ironic, since I’ve gone back to using my shaped but not anatomic Jeffries Symbian girth on the mare.
