Spinoff: Favorite Listening On Those Long Drives to the Meet

So I noticed that others like to listen to books on the way to the meet. I always line up a bunch of podcasts. Some of my favorites are
*Chasing a Fox in a Little Black Dress. They are old but I still re listen!
*Snap Judgement, this is so good I saw it live
*Spooked, a snap judgement spin off but scary.
*the Moth, true stories
*This American Life
*The Ax Files, David Axelrod’s interviews
*Watch What Crappens, yes I love to hear these guys dish on Bravo shows
*In Our Time, BBC shows like a good college lecture
*Gastropod, great show about food science and history
*Dressed, a show about clothing history

i would love to find some about hunting and or horses. Any suggestions?

Music. My IPOD is plugged into the truck.

I listen to Sirius 148 Classic Radio Shows --dramas, not comedy --DragNet, Gun Smoke, Johnny Dollar, The Six Shooter. When nothing is on there I want to listen to, I go to audiobooks --right now “Before We Were Yours” but loved “The Perfect Horse” --next up is a new Virgil Flowers book. Oh, Lilac Girls was good too.

What long drives?

I listened to “The Fortune Hunter” book on CD recently- it is a light novel about Empress Sisi hunting in England with a Grand National hopeful.

More serious books I’ve “read” on CD about horses include “The Mare” and “Lord of Misrule”, both of which I would recommend.

oh, this is fun! I have a couple to add.
