Well, my guy’s JC name was Private Pleasure, so I changed that one quickly! (Don’t Google it!). His eventing name is Oh So Extreme, because everything he does is to the extreme, so I guess his hunter name would be Extreme. Simple and to the point.
I’m a h/j rider, not an eventer, but this is fun, so…
Horse 1, warmblood yearling bred to be a hunter (and seems like he’ll probably be suited for it):

Barn name: River
Not especially a trendy sounding hunter name but my husband came up with it and I like it.
Horse 2, OTTB:
JC name: Stealth Rocket
Barn name: Jax
Hunter name: I don’t know yet, but it’s not going to either of those.

Barn name: Lucas
Hunter name: Cinematic
Loved that for a hunter name but he only showed a couple of times before he died at 4 1/2. I guess I could use the name again for the new horse, but am a little superstitious about doing that.
I am a hunter…way too chicken to do the other stuff.

Show name: Hanky Panky or Hoppenot(really like this name) its french but I like saying Hope Not not Hope-en-o
If my step dad had his way his show name would be Money Pit and his barn name would be Cash
So boring, but I think I’m set. The three horses I own event(ed) as Chablis, Madeira, and Cava. Apparently they 100% meet hunter rules as being one word and alcoholic beverages! (Madeira is Chablis’s daughter, and then I figured what the hell I love my theme when I got and named Cava). Not a one of them would be good hunters, aside from being aptly named. My brother’s ex girlfriend (who we are still friends with) shows her hunter as Ambiance. So perfectly hunter-y.

AHA Registered name: Jumping Joe Bailey (don’t blame me)
Barn name: Bailey
Eventing name: same (Oddly enough it suits him)
Now, we don’t do hunters, but IF we did…
Hunter name: Mischief Managed. Yes it’s a Harry Potter reference, but it totally fits Bailey. He is a 15.1 hand party on hooves, lol.
Horse 2: Big, thick-boned TB who could pass as a WB. Bright bay, lots of chrome and personality.
JC name: Sky Lake (awwwwful)
USEA name: Skyfall (DH is a huge James Bond fan, and he was NOT happy with this addition to the family. So not only was it a cool movie, but I figured giving him a Bond name might smooth the road)
And in case we ever venture into hunters…
